Crooked I speaks to E's Way Radio: January 9, 2012:
"It's a honor, man.. Eminem, to just give us that platform and say 'Hey go do what you do best. Don't compromise your skills, don't compromise your talent, just make the kind of music that you see fit' and he ride with it a 100%, so I gotta salute Eminem on that, you know what I mean..."
On working with Eminem: "We bringin' our formula to the table man and then, you know, he'll come in, he'll put his input in & we welcome his input, I mean, you know, who wouldn't want Michael Jordan in the locker room?.. And it's a good feeling to make records in a label owned by a MC ― opposed to people who don't understand the craft. Once again man, it's a blessing dawg and the album is ridic-ulous from top to bottom..."
He also said that he was heading to Detroit on January 11, for Slaughterhouse's final studio session with Eminem, to put the finishing touches on the album.
Crooked I speaks to Relevant Mindset: December 7, 2011
"Being a part of (the Shady 2.0 BET Hip-Hop Awards Cypher), well, it taught me 2 things - one, come with your game face on when you doin' a cypher for BET, two: Eminem ― there's a reason he is the boss (laughs); best thing I learned from that! He came over with that thing.."
