I'll look through and see if there's stuff that I haven't already posted. I posted all the stuff I didn't know before I read the books, so you probably know all that stuff already, but I can look if you want. :)

That would be nice, I have to write an essay or whatever about him and one of the topics is the struggles and problems he went through in his childhood. The biographies on the internet aren't really detailed :p

Off the top of my head, all they really say about his childhood is obviously all the different schools and homes, moving back and forth between Detroit and KC, bullies, his mom put him on Ritalin for some reason, and he didn't like his mom's foster kids. He used to lock them out of the house. But Em hasn't exactly given too many details about his childhood. :(

Yes, it seems the second Excerpts are more recent which is good but not as intriguing as the early Eminem. Its true, struggle and pain make for great fodder.

Not any more. I spread each book out over three days.

@momentsgolden I agree, the early years are more interesting because of all the lawsuits and Em adjusting to fame and all the crap he had to deal with.

Marshall's Hip-Hop Shop battles also attracted another admirer who would be invauable to his future career. "I heard him in a battle with 50 other MCs," said Paul Rosenberg. "He took them all by himself."

I know a few people here follow battling. Anybody have any idea what Paul's talking about? Em against 50 other rappers?

I also read it all but in two sittings haha. Very insightful stuff, would love a good auto-biography to come out, he got any official ones?

The Way I Am is the only auto-bio he's done.

Yeah, that doesn't make any sense to me.

I'm not sure there would be 50 battle rappers in one place at one time...even in Detroit. Even if there were, why would they all be battling Eminem? I mean, don't battles usually go by a bracket?

Maybe Paul is just full of shit. That's not too out of the question. That, or he was misquoted.
