Underated Eminem songs

Postby AspirinE » Jun 11th, '06, 09:06

I always here eminemssingles parised so much, but to be honest i still believe that some stuff that was less known was much better in a creative way. Which songs do you think are underated?

low, down, dirty (eventhough it was on the ssep)
It shoul'd have been on the SSLP instead of "If I Had" imo

"It's amazing that the amount of news that happens in the world every day always just exactly fits the newspaper."

My basic disk will make you take a razor to your wrist
Make you satanistic
Make you take the pistol to your face
N place the clip N cock it back
N let it go until your brains are rippin out your skull so bad
To sew you back would be a waste of stitches

Spend Some Time, in my opinion, is the best track on Encore. I don't know, it's my favourite. Though I don't remember most the tracks :giggle:

i love that song too.

here's the thing, if the people that like hellbound aren't the ones who think the singles are his best songs.

underrated to who is the question - to people like you guys who have his entire catalogue cant truely answer this question.

Nice topic ASpirine!

For me, i never hear anyone praising "Bully". Lyrically and structurally it`s one of his most skillful tracks!

And somebody hit "Prodeo" with a piece of wood and wake him up. Aspirine, i think you misinterpreted his post, he thought "If I Had" shouldn`t be on the SSLP!

My list of tracks that i feel are underrated:

Bully
If I Had - (Great concept, and captures the "pissed off" mood perfectly!!)
Rock Bottom - Self explanatory, awesome lyrics, great beat and mood!
Still Dont Give A Fuck - (Flow, Lyrics are awesome!)
I never Knew - (Sometimes overlooked classic off MMLP, another great concept)
Kim - (got contraversy, but, not acclaim. I`ve never heard a track performed like that, amazing!!)
My Dad`s Gone Crazy - Great lyrics and flow, the last great Slim Shady song!!
Spend Some Time - Eminem`s verse is one of his best ever, the way he flows to the beat, love it!!
Searchin, Infinite & Open Mic, from Infinte, lyrically some of Eminem`s best tracks!!

but some I think were underrated are:

SSLP: I'm Shady
MMLP: Drug Ballad, Who Knew
ES: Drips, Square Dance
Others: Bully, Rabbit Run, Stimulate, Renegade (my personal favorite Eminem track)

the list goes on...
