Being an Eminem fan is so hard

Postby Aftermathers » Jun 5th, '12, 05:40

A lotta Eminem fans are his own worst enemies. Only Eminem fans would accept records about rape, incest, serial killing, childish humor no other Artist Nas, Rakim, Styles P, 2pac would put up with records if those Rappers made records like We Made You, Fack, Insane, Stay Wide Waake and whatever other songs about those crazy weird topics.

When 2pac fans praise him for his finest work like Dear Mama generally his fans agree with the praise

When Eminem fans or critics praise his work like Mockingbird a lotta his fans who like the shock value have a chip on their shoulder

When Nas fans compare him to 2pac for making records about real life situations, experiences, Lyrics with real meaning Nas fans take it as a compliment yet so many Eminem fans are the opposite

It';s so sad and people who like that kinda Shady Music don't realize how much damage that kinda Music has done for his reputation in the Urban community, core inner city hip hop audience the way some people are so stubbornly naive to this is so sad. Even with Albums when Em making real Music people respect like The Eminem Show tracks like Not Afraid, Rock Bottom the fact he still made records like Insane and the gimmicky shock value have hurt his reputation and in some cases made him a joke in the eyes of the inner city even though people know he has the dope material Rapping about real life.

This is a worry i would say it's a minority but still that's bad cos Em has the biggest fan base so even a minority is a big %

Actually it may be a good thing. I mean look at lil Wayne fans who universally ride his cock no matter what kind of verse or music he puts out. If people and fans continually put you under the fire to make good music, he is under pressure to make the best music. Trust me its better

If Nas made We Made You, Insane, Just Lose It or any records about weird topics his fans would be embarassed as would if they compared him to Hopsin Nas fans would want him to be compared to 2pac

Eminem fans in the long run have damaged him so much the reason of the naive thinking is cos most these people that like these Slim Shady themed records don't live in the Inner City they from the suburbs so they don't realize how much it damages Eminem's credibility

I can't for the life of me imagine a pioneer like Rakim sitting down and listening to a record like Insane with it's subject matter and thinking wow this hot i think he would feel ashamed listening to it thinking did i pave the way for the highest selling Artists to make this kinda music?

But you can imagine Rakim sitting down listening to Sing For The Moment, Mopckingbird, Beautiful, 8 Mile Road and thinking this is why Em is that dude this is real Music strong Lyrics with a message, dope content, real meaning and thinking this is why i paved the way for others to make dope Music like this

The naivity of suburban white Eminem fans kills me they honestly think the crazy of the wall, shock stuff doesn't hurt Em's rep and legacy in the Inner City.

People actually also think traditional Hip Hop fans even contimplate listening to someone like Hopsin?

You think people would listen to Hopsin and like that kinda Music he does? no people listen to records like Dear Mama that's what gets peoples respect

And the sad thing is Eminem himself, his managment, people around him are fully aware of what people think of his Shock Value themed Music in the Inner City what core hip hop fans think of that kinda Music and how badly it damages his rep and makes so many think of it as a clown and the topics of rape, killing, mother hatered a disgrace to Hip Hop

Yet Em still gives you fans that like that kinda Music to this day knowing how much it actually damages his rep amongst the core hip hop audiance, black community, urban community and peers but you guy's really don't even appreciate his true Art and Music.

YOu guys can't think objectivley either that's the sad thing imagine all those times Eminem bumped into legends like Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Nas backstage at a concert knowing he made a Song like We Made You or Just Lose It how embarassed he must be inside knowing such legends heard those type of Songs on Radio.

Yet was it really worth it? in the long run Eminem will have huge regrets when he retires and it all comes down to him sacrificing his self respect, legacy for a minority of Slim Shady fans that like weird Music that most people find weird and non enjoyable at all in the Hip Hop community.

And Slim Shady/Horrorcore fans always come with that played out pathetic lame excuse 'oh not every Song can be deep or have meaning and real Lyrics, not every Song can be real sometimes you gotta do funny stuff blah blah'

2pac, Nas, Styles P and most others who are deep like Em also make non serious Music to give their Music balance but this what Shady fans don't get when Nas and 2pac and Styles and most others do it they don't Rap about puking, serial killing, rape

Just like when Eminem makes his actual dope real Hip Hop fun Songs that aren't serious and deep like So Bad, Smack That etc no 1 has a problem with even those who like him for his Deep material cos those are actually normal fun Songs

I really feel sad and the thing is the most funny thing is if Eminem never joined D12 he wouldn't even have had the Slim Shady Alter Ego it wasn't even his idea.

But i hope you guys are happy for being the reason so many look down and how his reputation, self respect, legacy has been hurt even though people realize he made some of the finest Music like The Eminem Show, Lose Yourself, Rock Bottom etc

And how ridiculous are Slim Shady fans that say 'most Rappers just Rap about money, hoes, guns'

Yet Rapping about serial killing, homosexuality, mother hatered, incest, taking drugs, puking is better?

It;'s actually quite sad how so many Shady fans are blinded by their biased views and don't realize how much they are seriously damaging Em's legacy every time he puts out an Album like RElapse or BME or makes a Song about those crazy Subjects.

We damaged him? Get the fuck out, WE MADE HIM. Because of us he has food in his refrigerator, his kids can go to college, his grand kids can go to college, and he got millions in his bank. Because of us your little stupid ass even knows about a rapper named Eminem. It's his then persona that made us love him, give him money, and made him famous.
