How could Eminem be controversial on his new album?

Postby slimfan94 » Jul 21st, '12, 02:32

Like what names could he drop, or what could he say to stir up controversy. Now I'm not a big fan of stirring up controversy just to be controversial, especially by someone at the age of Eminem. However there are controversial things he could say that would be relevant. For example he could bring up Whitney Houston and how everyone makes a big deal over her death when people die everyday, and ultimately it was Houston's fault she died. I'd actually be very interested to hear his take on this since he almost died of OD. What are other things he could bring up as well?

I agree and then maybe a verse about a soldier who died defending its country and how no one talks about him. It'd be very good concept, it would stir up controversy, and it wouldn't sound forced.

It'd be cool for him to bring up the troops in a song or two again.

What he needs to do it jokingly diss an artist with an extremely sensitive fan base. That'll cause an unnecessarily big uproar.

Lady Gaga? That fans base got pissed off at the male lady line.....

If he lashes out at his fans and calls them all sperm gobblers and that Not Afraid was really a coy to get sales, that he didn't really want you to come and take his hand. :shifty:
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

you said relevant, and tbh, all what you said sounds like bs, we need to be talking about the banks and jews, the ppl who always stir up controversy get killed, look at 2pac, michael jackson, they were on the right path to exposin the pope, look at money, money is fuckin fake, it's really about gold, why do u think we have oil probs, motherfuckers don't wan't our "food stamps", they want gold. if you're gonna diss anything, diss the US since we are slaves to the corporate, then THAT would be pushing the limits.

No, diss the government; the great majority of Americans have nothing to do with that.

Geno said in another topic about him bringing up the recent Colorado shooting at the new batman film.

Whilst I think bringing this up for controversy's sake is forced (as has been said before) I do think there are elements of this he can comment on:

e.g "a bunch of little kids shot at a rated R movie..." I mean, what was a 3 month kid doing at that film at midnight?! I guess these concepts are similar to Who Knew, but I think if Em is going to comment on anything controversial, it has to be something he genuinely feels strongly about or which is circulated around him.

I think the most shocking thing would be if he started debunking recovery and saying how good relapse is.
"a bunch of little kids shot at a rated R movie? I don't give a fuck, the little shits don't like Relapse do they?"
"Oh, he'll give us what we need.
It may not be what we want."

Making pop songs with him singing only. No rap at all.

Aha that's true. I have no idea how American's rate their films. There's Pg-13, R, M (is there?). It's a lot easier here in England.

Haha nah it goes G for general audiences (kids movies), PG is parental guidance, then PG-13, and then R. Then there are movies not allowed to be shown in theaters like the South Park movie.

^ Yeah I was thinking of that. He didn't like boys band before so that's not really a reach.. If that happens, I'll be so damn happy haha.
