Why would you want to be selective. I could tell you a song I think is brilliant but you may hate it and visa versa; why wouldn't you want to know all there is from an artist and decide for yourself?

I recommend you get all of his solo albums, and follow him from the beginning.

I agree. Everyone has there own take on there favourites. Personally I love Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show the best. I wish I could feel how I did when I first started listening when I was a kid, was exciting haha.

You should definitely listen to music via albums, I think it's right way, especially if you're getting into a new artist and stuff. As for Em, THe Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, D12's Devil's Night, and The Eminem Show are a must. You'll get a way better feeling of his music if you check it out that way.

There's no "restriction" on music listening. I started to listen to Eminem around your age. As long as you don't take most of his songs seriously and don't emulate his crazier lyrics, I personally see no problem with it.
