Should Em do a Oprah's Next Chapter episode?

Postby The Shady Virus » Oct 8th, '12, 15:26

I have watched the 50 Cent and Rihanna episodes and I enjoyed them. I think Oprah actually asks descent questions and it shows another side of the artists that we have not seen before. I enjoyed the 60 Minute piece that Em did a while back, but I didn't feel they went into much detail about Em's personal life and stuff like that. It mainly focused on his music and his addiction. I noticed a lot of stuff we know about Em and how he came up are from other people and not directly from him. Basically, everything we know about him has been pieced together from so many different sources, it would be nice to hear things in his words.

So I guess my question is, do you think it would be a good idea for Em to do one? Do you think he would benefit? I personally think it would be a good look :coffee:

No because he'll say what we've all heard a million times.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

I really enjoy the in-depth interviews, but for some reason I feel like Em wouldn't want to go on Oprah.

only if he did the interview with his daughters. that would be something to watch. Hallie and his other girls are old enough know that they have their own opinions on things and mature enough to be on a show like Oprahs. that would make for a great interview. give a tour of his house. see daddy marshall and not the rapper lol

Oprah gets a lot of hate for being a faggot, but I don't think she's bad.

Em's deranged male stans would start jerking off to the sight of Em's daughters, and his deranged female stans would masturbate to the idea of Em being their daddy.

LMAO!!!

It's funny cause it's true

Anyway, an Oprah interview would be useless, her shows always focus on the "Human Tragedy, overcame obstacles, what have you learned from it" kind of vibe and Em has already discussed that at length in his music. It's one thing to get Dave Chappelle to open up for the first time about his breakdown on her show, but who really wants to here anymore about Em's drug addiction??

Lmao.

But. I like this daughters interview idea. I think it'd actually be cool to just have an Oprah interview (or like, 20/20, with Diane Sawyer, or... Katie Couric or whatever), that was just with Hailie (and maybe the others, if they wanted... but I'd honestly give more of a shit about Hailie's part, lol), and sort of like an expose, but in a good way. Like what Kim did on 20/20, but in a more "pro-Em" kind of way, of course. It would be after she was 18. Or not, but that just made sense to me for some reason.

What I think would REALLY be amazing, in terms of a publicity stunt/ratings boost, would be for Em to bring Hailie to the 2014 grammy's.

Think about it: He'll PROBABLY have an album nominated, and probably for album of the year, too. Let's assume, for the sake of my argument, that the album is great. Or... at least good as Recovery SHOULD suffice, more or less.

Hailie will have recently turned 18, so it'd be the perfect 'opportunity' to formally introduce her to the world.

We can all formally see her, so that idiots on the internet and retarded so-called journalists on the blogs can finally quit fucking arguing about who is "the real Hailie" blah blah blah. We'll finally get a new crop of pics for people to post annoyingly all over tumblr, instead of that damn volleyball pic, which is already about 2 years old. People will marvel at the fact that time has passed, and that she is an adult, when there is absolutely nothing surprising about this and absolutely no fucking reason to make a meme to the effect of "EMINEM"S LITTLE GIRL HAS ADVANCED IN AGE! AND SO HAVE I!!"

Anyway, she'd be his 'date', they'd both look smashing, he'd say/do entertaining things, Hailie would say/do entertaining things, he'd win Album of the Year, AT LONG LAST (assuming the record is good, I mean) and it'd be this really fucking corny/awesome, "full circle" thing, and he would WIN THE GRAMMY'S and would win at life, and everyone would live happily ever after.

That is MY perverted stan fantasy. :smoking: Think on it, friends.... I mean, I actually kind of will be pissed if something like that DOESN'T happen. I mean, come on, Em. Bring your kid(s) to a awards shows like a normal famous person, eh?

Em is not the type to do such interviews and wants to keep his daughters off the limelight but nonetheless it would be REALLY interesting & EXCITING to see oprah interviewing marshall. TBH

I think it would be interesting an interview with Oprah, wouldn't be much different than his 60 minutes interview though....I wonder what he will talk about in the new interviews when the new album come out, 2009- 2010 interviews were about drugs, Proof and his hiatus years.

what has been said above about bring Halie to the grammys will never happen, and I see no reason or interest in doing something like that. She is an anonymous kid trying to live a normal life.

An Oprah interview would be good, I don't think there will be another interview until the album comes out though. The 60 minutes one was good but it seemed so quick and dumbed down, I'd prefer more of a sit down one. I remember him talking about his mum and not having seen her in 3 or 4 years but he's a lot more forgiving of her now after his addiction (he said he loved her) and I thought that was pretty interesting.

The Hailie thing will never happen, he's done a good job of "hiding" her from the world without going to Michael Jackson proportions and he's not about to throw that away so he can get more publicity for a new album.

You mean Paul's fatass wouldn't want Em to go on Oprah...
