I think it's safe to say that Em's album is done. [no news]

I put the no news disclaimer so you people don't get all hyped before getting in the thread.

But first, we heard that Koolo (who you might hate w/e, he actually is legit since he has inside informations) has a friend who heard 6 GREAT songs by Eminem, for his next solo. Koolo also heard what he says is a "fuck-around" track with Dre (which he didn't like)

Swifty heard some stuff, enough to say we're in it for a treat/new age fans will be shocked. Royce heard some stuff, said he doesn't know how the world will react..

That sounds like his album is almost done, and he's asking his friends/entourage their opinion on some songs so he can decice which track to put on the album, etc.. Crazy that we only heard that NO I.D and S1 are producing on the album.

I don't think it's nearly done...

He said back in August that he hadn't really 'gotten in' to his album yet...

But for some reason, I have this sneaking feeling he's been saying this to throw people off the scent / make them think it's coming, when it was basically near done there...

Because; when he phoned in the SH show on 106 & Park he said something like "guess I'll put out another album " as if he had it ready to go, Royce also said he wouldn't be surprised if Em had an album to release tomorrow, so I think they've intentionally kept this shit under CIA wraps.

I think a chunk of it might be done but Em/them won't stop now for sure & there are gonna have a have few more twists & turns before it's done.
He constantly gets beats, or does beats himself & records on 'em so the final cut counts & usually with EM most of the songs on his albums come from the last chunk of material he records 'cuz he wants it to be as recent/relevant as it gets when he drops an album. Unfortunately that's why he scrapped so many material that was getting old in the process of making the albums.
Anyway, it's good to know they're deep into it anyway.

Em said something like: "When I have a direction and I'm already far into the album, I'll go to Dre and we'll record stuff together, produce and stuff." in that Whoo Kid interview.

I do think that he's far in with the album.

The guy's been laying vocals since August 28th (EminemBase, he said he hasn't "gotten in" back in May, not August), so it's safe to assume that he at least has 12 album-material songs.

I think it's coming out somewhere between April-May or June.

And the fact that NO I.D and S1 are confirmed producers already makes this album great, production wise.

Nah, I know he said that in May - but then in August when speaking on it again, he said this:

"I actually started my album, but I haven’t fully went in yet because I’ve been finishing up this Slaughterhouse record."

That was in August. We're in December now... well I guess that's 3 months but, the fact he said he started in May, then 3 months later still was sounding like he hadn't really begun it makes me think he's going really slow with it and not caring when he makes it by.

I think you're wrong man. If he let his entourage hear some stuff, it probably means he's in the last process.. which means, picking the right songs to make a good tracklist, probably waiting for verses/clearing samples and stuff like that.

So? Just because he lets people listen doesn't mean he's close to being done the final product. Besides, his entourage are his best friends - he's obviously gonna give them a peep at whatever he's messin' around with.

I cannot picture Em having a song made in August sit there for another 8 months until releasing hit, his delivery has changed so much between his "Our House" verse up until "C'mon Let Me Ride". I don't think he's close to done, he's most likely got the direction pretty much down and has a bunch of warm up tracks that cater to the direction but aren't intended for the final product and is telling them he's gonna focus on X content even further when he gets closer to assembling the album.

Just because they're best friends doesn't mean he would show them a bunch of random songs. It's likely that he showed them some songs that have great chances to be on the album, otherwise, Swifty wouldn't talk about it like he did.
If he knows we're in it for a treat and that new age fans will be shocked, it's probably because he heard enough of it to know how the album, as a whole, will sound like. He probably heard tracks that will be on the album.

Also, we don't know how old C'Mon Let Me Ride is. And you seem to forget that we had "The Reunion" before "Our House" which was a lot more similar to C'Mon Let Me Ride delivery/flow wise (bar the antagonist ..... WAGON weird pause) so even if he recorded a verse, let's say 8 months ago, it doesn't have to mean that it's similar to other stuff he recorded around the same time.

Yeah, lol his voice is dope on that part...the whole verse, tbh.

It sounds more like "C'mon Let Me Ride" than it sounds like "Our House" though. And yeah the verse is cool af.
