There are only about 5 acts that are not guitar heavy (Rihanna, Eminem, Kanye West, The black Eyed Peas, and Lady Gaga). After seeing the list of best selling albums this decade as well.... its pretty obvious urban radio and Top 40 are machine marketed music that people dont necessarily respond to and rock is pretty much alive and well despite the lack of publicity
