I have never felt like Jay's career has dragged on, my opinion of course. Black Album and American Gangster are amongst his best, and those are both relatively new compared to his first batch of albums. He's done an excellent job of keeping every album refreshing.

I can see Eminem releasing atleast 3 more albums (including his upcoming one). We've never seen hip-hop artists maintain relevancy and keep their sales up the way that Em and Jay have. If Bob Dylan and Paul McCartney are still making music, then why shouldn't Em or Jay hang around a little longer? If it's something that people are buying, why stop?

tbh, If anyone can stay relevant until they are 50, it's Em and Jay.

I don't want Eminem to reach a point where he feels the need to make music just to sell or just because he HAS to make music. His quality might decrease gradually with each release, his older classics might end up being tarnished by his newer releases.

There's no guarantee his next albums will be great, which is why I'd have him stop now rather than release three more albums and be remembered for his mediocre work, not his masterpieces.
