See, this one is "Plus special guests" too. Eminem is lowkey doing an Up and Smoke Tour. His set at the Stade de France starts at 21, but the show starts at 19.00. Slaughterhouse and Yela will probably be there.

Late July/first week of August is my guess, unless he headlines some concert early August, it'll be released late July/first week of August.

So we can expect a single in June I guess....

Hmm, I doubt he'd release it in August presuming people would know or like the songs by then. But I'm sure he said he was surprised by how many people knew Recovery songs? so maybe he's like, caught up with the times and realized people know the shit within like a week of it being out now.

This seems so unlike him though... to commit to live performances before the material is even out. Either he's supremely confident in it, is trying to provoke a certain mystique and speculation or the album isn't going to be out until after these concerts... surely he wouldn't just perform Recovery material again. But he usually likes to have some big hits to perform, seems weird that he's committing to performances without even knowing how the material will resonate.

Kind of a good sign that he doesn't care how it resonates... I hope.

Now that we're all discussing the possibility of the album AFTER these shows... that kinda feels more likely to me, as, Em has this kind of... "we'll see what the demand for the album" is mentality that I doubt has instantly changed in such a dramatic way to where he'd release an album, unsure of its reception or appeal, and just commit to shows to perform that material in advance, before it's even out...

I'm starting to think it's more likely the album will come right after these shows and that the shows are being used as a promotional tactic... aka, we'll get a slow year of eventual news dripping through ranging from the album title to sparse details... then he appears out of nowhere for huge shows then BOOM album. Because he's headlining Reading Festival; that's a huge deal, I just can't imagine him risking headlining these shows with material he has no idea how the people will react to.
