RIchard is a good example. Good chorus
"You get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow
I can tell at first glance you’re a ho
Cause your pants are so tight
When you dance with O. Trice, your implants explode
So cold to dykes, the chance is snow in San Francisco"
That part is good. But the rest of his verse is meh. I feel like he's almost there, but keeps missing the ball.
Thats ur problem if ur waiting for EM to get out of a slump, when I am anticipating a new song from him...see the difference?
Yeah, you're the kid at the stadium thrilled to see your favorite player, no matter what.
I'm the guy there screaming because he's 0-4 with 4 strike outs.
Let's debate.
Here Comes The Weekend - how is that verse a bad one? It's not. The song, terrible, yeah. But Em's verse is dope. Great references and reminds me of the Cypher a little bit. The Cypher is clearly still better though
Richard - like I said I can understand why people don't like it but I think it's dope. Not because it's Eminem, because it's a good verse. I have friends who I have made listen to Richard, unbiased friends who aren't his biggest fans but are fans and call it a good one. The content REALLY isn't too far off from what he used to rap about. He seems to be telling stories in these verses and that's what he especially does on this song.
Numb - the lyrics aren't embarrassing. As I keep on saying, take out the butt police line and you got nothing bad. He seems very descriptive and everything. It's just the song is terrible, the verse is TOO short for how fast he raps it, and one line and apparently that makes the lyrics themselves bad...they're really not. People WANT him to rap about this shit, rap about being Shady again and I bet he wants to be Shady again as well, and when he does everyone bitches. Shady used to be drug references, abusing hoes, and dissing rappers/celebrities with metaphors and shit. So what's exactly wrong with his Numb verse? Nothing, except that it's too fucking short.
C'mon Let Me Ride - this shit is vintage Eminem/Shady so I don't see what the problem with it is. Yeah it's on a shitty pop song but this verse is fucking great. Absolutely NO embarrassing lines whatsoever, amazing voice and flow, and good lyrics considering the content of the song. I really would like to hear what's bad about this verse.
So there you go. That's my argument.
