Totally misleading title...

That's Eminem at the Rap Olympics.

I'll let a razor slit you until they have to staple stitch you

"This beat is wack as fuck... this shit fits you perfect"

Fuck people saying new-age battles would kill him. Maybe in terms of true on the spot shit, but a lot of them research and know before hand any way, if Em got to do that, he would fucking murder of all them. Their wit is still corny as fuck in comparison to his.

The stuff that he brings in his Battles after proper research and stuff is amazing stuff, like the battles in the "8 Mile" Movie: That Beaver line!

In today's scenario, though, he might struggle because the battle are on all together different level, and if he hits that 'in other words' punchline he's a goner.

His verse on Warning was vicious and could earn him big "Ohhh's and Ahh's" in a battle, but that's not enough now.

I dunno man, the Mariah shit was pretty vague... it was a male-on-female diss regarding a semi-relationship and to pull this out:

"Listen girly, surely you don't want me to talk about
how I nutted early cause I ejaculated prematurely
And bust all over your belly and you almost started hurling
and said I was gross, go get a towel, your stomach's curling"

It's a basic concept famously used by Em to take away the potential ammo, turn it on himself before they get to... but I think in an intense, one on one battle where he knew about the guy's character, style etc. he would destroy himself in hilarious ways - taking away all the potential ammo, yet still make it cool and funny as fuck, and then viciously destroy the other guy...

I've watched some modern battles and a lot of the time it's lame as fuck race-related or dick-related shit, which is standard fodder for Em's previous enemies. It's generic dissing that could be applied to anybody, Em gets into the psyche of the opponent on a very human level. "Bully" for example was a complete character-assasination, and he reasons and applies logic for his own words and actions, it's just a different class to 'look at this skinny honky' kind of material.

Modern battlers can be brutal but it's still pretty surface stuff in comparison, still on a kind of childish level. Em's phrasing is unique and his digs are deeper and more biting.

There are definitely battlers with the same level of wit.

Em certainly wouldn't be in a league of his own.

His humor is what can make win, you say? I know that's not the only thing that you're saying here. But I find that it's absolutely lacking now -a - days. Let's not talk about "Don't flop" now, but the type of humor that he posses is dark and sharp in its own way. His one line can get the audience engaged for a long time, and that's what matters at times in battles.

I know that song was not that sufficing enough. I'm talking about the raw energy to push you off the cliff and fucking destroy you. If he brings it in a battle, it would make it difficult to re-buttle. Eminem goes real deep on the personal front. Surely he would to say about the looks and shit, but in a more a hilarious and reference-oriented way making it more killer.

Kruger, I think has some awesome phrasing. If that can win battles for him, then it can definitely do more for Eminem since he's an expert in that area.

Cruger and Kid Twist have the same level of wit as Eminem. (if that can even be measured, lol).

And all top-tier battlers have the same level of rhyming.

Eminem would have had the potential to be a top-tier battler.

Em recycled some of the lines from the Rap Olympics at Scribble Jam...ofcourse back then you didn't have youtube and people didn't know....

But if Eminem were in a written league (which is homo in itself) he would destroy these guys. By saying he wouldn't survive in a modern day league, you are saying that these modern battle rappers are better writers than Eminem is....

I beg to differ.

He would destroy the shit ones (good for him).

But he certainly wouldn't "destroy" the best of them.

Tbh, looking at his current writing, I doubt he'd even destroy the shit ones.

Like the purchased Lyrics by Alkaine? (or w/e) Lmaooooooooooooo! That was so funny.

Eminem would kill in written battles. But, currently, his writing is a cause for concern. :(

It's fucking stan of all you guys to say "Eminem would destroy current battlers".

A prime-Eminem would have had some great match-ups with prime Illmaculate/Saurus/Cruger/Kid Twist/Real Deal/Justice/Dumbfounded/Soul Khan/Mac Lethal/Pat Stay/Eurgh/Eyedea/Possessed.

If you think Em would have whitewashed these guys you are ignorant or a stan. But most likely both! :flower:

And a current Eminem would probably lose the battle in other words the contest would go missing!
