Looks more recent than 2001. It was OK, Em had some decent lines here and there.

"I probably stur up so much shit in Europe I'll probably mess the whole tour up"

"Any MC that try to step to this, I'm like the Exorcist, yo watch my neck just twist"

"I got down with doctor dre. Now I'm rich, bitch, I live a block away" That made me laugh

"I'm leaving you in a receiving room with two breathing tubes that your breathing through"

"Slim shady in your illest dreams your kids nightmares hold it right there hold the beat yeah right there" I'd love to hear EM make a song with that beat with that flow

idk, i would kind of call it new, the freestyle itself is old (in the 38 min d12 westwood freestyle) but I've never seen the video before...

some sick verses though, and proof's freestyling is literally incredible, he was doing 4 syllable multi's off the dome

aww i wanted to hear bizarre rap
"I take yall diss as endearment - I love it when I hear it
Maybe words offensive - free speech I don't fear it
Maybe music can take us to a place so atmospheric
Beyond our greatest imagination, illuminatin' experience
If we open our ears and close our inhibitions, it's clear"

It's actually from 2001, according to the clothes that Em wears there, it's 2001, no doubt.

On topic:

It's dope, especially Proof was spitting fire, awesome. :worship:

Thanks to Westwood for uploading these rare videos because they're all really dope.

What's that beat? Sounds so familiar. Not sure Porter was off the top..

Oh god yes, I knew it was a wasted beat. Such a great beat ruined by Nas.

I love Nas but I agree with this. Fuck you, though.

Hard to say stuff like this, isn't it? I love Nas too.

The beat was ruined by all the shitty people on the song. If Nas would have just done three verses, it would have been fine.

Em has done that too....with....75% of the features he's ever done.

Em was generally a bad off the top freestyler, makes me cringe a little.

On occasion he's been outstanding, but he should just always come with his incredible writtens.

when it comes to actually freestyling...Proof is the best i ever seen
Eminem is arguably below average for a battle rapper when just going off the top...he's good at coming up with nice lines and remembering them but actually flowing on the fly, he's just aight

Freestyling sucks. 90% of the good freestyles are written. 90% of the shitty parts are the real free style.

I usually don't even listen to them. Unless I know they are basically written like the Relapse era westwood "freestyles"

I just don't get into them. People like to debate who is the best, but you don't really know if a free style is written or what percent of it is written. Just because only 30% of it is written doesn't make it impressive. That only means you get to hear 30% of a decent song while the stumble over words the other 70% until they get to the cool written line again.

That's because the term freestyle has become incredibly vague. It can pretty much be anything from off-the top, to pretty much a proper song with no hook. It's weird.

I really enjoyed the 2009 and 2010 Westwood sessions though, they were great.
