What will Eminem's strategy be against the leaks?

After all talks about the release date, I think a more interesting discussion would be what strategy will Em and his camp adopt to avoid early leaking.
Will he take the Kanye and Jay route?
Or will he try something new?

Recovery was pushed up and released earlier (and so was The Eminem Show, but it was 2002), I honestly don't know what to expect this time.

What are your thoughts?

I actually remember a Recovery era interview where he says that he doesn't necessarily find leaks a bad thing because they can make the record bigger sometimes.

Leaks ain't really the major problem, though. Sure, if your album leaks ~ a month prior to the release date, that might be a problem. But for the most part, it's the general decline of album sales that is problematic for labels. There's been a shift in consumer behavior - iTunes and various streaming applications is gaining % of the market share every year.

I agree, if the music is high quality, doesn't realy matter.

I always buy Eminem albums, and I buy the albums of the artist I really like or I consider are great albums. Even if I download everything from the internet and I hardly ever listen the physical album. But I like to have them.

His strategy is what they are doing now, not release till' the last minute. NO new's, No leak's, No one is talking about it much yet. it's under tight wraps.

Them doing his also makes me believe it will be a rough around the edges "Shady" type album. Tweet's like "heard one song, gave my nightmares" and such that have sprouted up, makes me believe that and also, that all they need to do for promotion is release a hat over a year before the release date. People will not forget he has an album coming out.

I consider this is real comeback album.

I don't think it will leak unless it's on purpose, because some artist's will leak there own song's to get major buzz about the album.
