Eminem's 2010 album "Recovery" was just that: The Detroit rapper's sixth studio effort spawned two massive hits ("Not Afraid" and "Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna), earned an album of the year Grammy nomination and sold 4.5 million copies, nearly double the units that 2009's Relapse sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Executive-produced by Dr. Dre and Rick Rubin, the eagerly awaited "Marshall Mathers LP 2" will include first single "Berzerk," released Aug. 27, as well as the rock-infused epic "Survival," a non-single that will be showcased in the upcoming videogame "Call of Duty: Ghosts." Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and No I.D. are also expected to appear on the final track list.

Survival has pretty good verses I guess, a terrible beat (you'd think he learned with Recovery that he shouldn't do another album with production like that), and a crappy cliche chorus.

I pretty much agree. Solid rapping for the most part, beat's ehhh and hook's ehhhh. My gripe is that it sounds literally nothing like Berzerk. Like when I think of MMLP2 Survival doesn't come to mind. It just doesn't fit for some reason (that's what she said).

I don't think they know anything more than the rest of us TBH. They just took some shit that we've all heard and put it in there, all they said was these people are "expected" to be on the album. No track list has been released or finalized, so no one knows til then.

Unless Em drops a monster track like Devil In A New Dress, and 50 provides the verse or his career after a Mike Dean guitar solo.
