All new singles before the release of MMLP2 [FLAC format]

Postby ddnt32 » Oct 16th, '13, 23:59

Until the official and complete album comes out, I've decided to upload the FLAC singles that get released before it. FLAC is a lossless audio format, which means it has the exact same quality as the CD. All the uploads are from explicit versions. Please let me know if the links are offline, so I can re-upload them. The file sizes are very large.

Eminem - Survival (featuring Liz Rodrigues)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/bymaa8cgyb0eb ... vival.flac
https://mega.co.nz/#!2YpgWRQJ!FhjCqSbXk ... 8sqTrP90co

Eminem - Berzerk
https://www.dropbox.com/s/ggrehezix3yv2 ... rzerk.flac
https://mega.co.nz/#!3dwAEKCT!cwfP8FE5r ... mYGiSCIW7M

Eminem - Rap God
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xo9jszdv7gu6w ... 20God.flac
https://mega.co.nz/#!rFIFGBrI!aJph1nh2G ... AyFPptfuvU

P.S.: Sorry if this is against the rules, I searched around and couldn't find anything against it. Also, I didn't knew whether to post this in this forum or in the "Shady Media" forum.

EDIT: Added alternative links to Mega. It's the exact same file, just on another server in case one of them goes down.

EDIT 2: To avoid even more controversy if whether these files are real FLACs or not, I've passed all the three of them through Lossless Audio Checker 1.9.1 and generated the HTML report. Below is the printscreen of each one of the reports.

I always used to download flac versions when available, but where do they actually come from? Especially when there's not an actual cd to rip from. When you buy these songs don't they come as mp3's? So converting from something lower can't make the quality better?

Can someone who knows about that shit explain to me if flac is worth the extra bits?

From what I saw in the russian forum where I downloaded these, the sources are digital downloads in lossless format from these sites:

Eminem - Survival:
http://www.qobuz.com/album/survival-emi ... 0253760510

Eminem - Berzerk
Somewhere in this site --> http://www.musicload.de/

Eminem - Rap God:
http://www.qobuz.com/album/rap-god-eminem/0060253760932

So yes, they actually worth the extra bits. :)

oh ok, so they were actually uploaded as flac from Eminem's staff your saying? (don't speak Russian lol) Cuz anything can be converted into anything but if it starts as an mp3 the "loss" has already taken effect lol. But thanks

I don't think you can make an up-conversion and sell it like that... And there ARE lots of sites which sell music in FLAC format.

Wtf are you talking about Basedshady

Edit: like I said before. I'm sure everyone knows anything can be converted into anything. I was also wondering if this was bullshit. That's why I asked where it came from ( and Flac files in general on torrent sites n shit)

Edit again: The irony of this remark when you're the one not reading, nor comprehending what was said.

this is cool, !!!

but when you start collecting FLAC files i think it's most common that you put the source with it (not the source like the site they're comming from but how they recorded)

i give an example (like i do it as Nirvana collector)

first you say where the track is comming from:
Generation
DAT(x) > ANA(x) > CD-R(2) > FLAC [Level 8] (this means the song is recorded in studio on DAT (unknown how many times the DAT is copied > then copied to analoge cassete (also unknown how many times > Then copied to CD-R (2 times) > and then converted to FLAC

Transfer
unknown -> Exact Audio Copy v.0.99 -> Adobe Audition v.2.0. -> FLAC Frontend v.1.2.1

And this explains wich program's you use to create the FLAC file

and like said it's probably 100% that these are sourced out of mp3, so the loss has taken place,
Glenfiddich Single Malt Whisky
Eminem
Nirvana
VW Golf GTI
Painting & Paint
^^^^^^ Basically my intrests

These are definitely iTunes/Amazon M4As/MP3s converted to FLAC...

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

Lol Not really offtopic, this whole thread has become solely FLAC related.
Yes, it is If it's real.
When you record a song it isn't 5mb I dunno bout the million dollar major studio's and shit but wav files are like 50- 100mb after mixed. When it's turned into an mp3 its compressed and loses quality. Flac is, or is closer to the original file it was recorded as. Obviously this can be broken down way better but that's the jist.
