A true Devil's Night sequel in memory of Proof.

Until he does that... he will never make what strikes as another classic.
His skill is there, his potential is there, his creativity is there... this is the only thing he has failed to do now 4 albums in a row. Relapse was the closest and probably will end up being the last Em album where he has one vision and sees it through, because now he has a fear of 'running shit in to the ground'.
That thing which he now fears is the very thing which made the first three classics.

And you don't think it was deliberate that the MMLP 2 was as diverse as it was?. We're talking about a guy that is renowned for being obsessive when it comes to his music. He clearly didn't want to go down that route. why are you so stuck on this musical cohesion business?, sometimes cohesion can lead to tedium, and as diverse as the sound is on MMLP2 is, it's pretty far from being tedious.
Oh and you saying that he is in fear of going near the first 3 albums, i highly doubt it , given the fact that he actually called this album the MMLP2, knowing the fact that all his fans where gonna be highly concerned about this move. plus he had the balls to make a sequel to Stan, which we're all pretty much in agreement that he delivered the goods

I agree completely.
TES might be the least replayable album that people consider a classic. It gets incredibly underwhelming after the 1st or 2nd listen.

I never listen to TES now but in the day - I overplayed the FUCK outta it.
I would call it very fucking replayable and perhaps his most tbh.
SSLP is genius whenever you put it back on... but it's actually quite... a fractured listen due to all the skits and the frequency of the break ups. MMLP is just mind-blowing brilliance, but I'd say TES combines the best of both with a new musical catchiness which is undeniable and makes it his best album.
But overall I'd call Relapse his most replayable album.

Yes, I stand by this quite firmly too. TES flows well, but I don't find it catchy at all. The rapping is good, the flows on the beats are incredible, but overall everything sounds so similar that after a few listens I just can't handle it anymore.
Also, Eminem comes across as the biggest bitch on it. I just can't handle the subject matter at all.
