Em getting signed story's

ok from interview's and just random shit i've read on the net, i've heard 3 story's on how Em got sigend here they are 1. jimmy ivene gave dre a copy of the slim shady EP or a demo of it 2. Dre heard Em freestylin on the radio while going home and knew he had to sign him and 3. he found Em's tape on the floor of a studio where jimmy ivene was at...so if anyone knows which is true let me know lol

i think its a combination of all of them. jimmy heard em at the rap olympics and thought he was good. he found ems mixtape, listened to it and thought he would give it to dre. dre heard it and signed em without thinking twice.

I dont think it Reaally matters how but I do think it is interesting. I have always heard a combination of the 3. The Dre finding the mixtape on the floor would be pretty cool too.
