It was my first time seeing him live and I have to say that his voice was a lot higher pitched than I thought. When he was doing the "skits" in between songs, I assumed his voice would be deeper. Guess it doesn't come through as well on camera. I know, it's weird, but it really stood out to me when I first heard it.

It could also be because he's spending an hour yelling into a mic, though. I know my voice starts to get higher pitched when I spend a lot of time yelling.

That happened to us at Metlife. It's not his voice there something in the fog they were pumping that was making everyones voices higher pitched. Either that or the loudness of the concert in general caused our ears to react differently. All of us in the front sounded like we inhaled helium. If you go back and watch the concert footage his voice doesnt sound higher pitched at all. At least not to me.
