Spending some of your disposable income to help the disadvantaged is not a sign of a simple mind. It's a sign of a socially conscious one. I would have bought it if it was bright orange and had a full colour picture of Marshall's goatse'd asshole on the back.

Why should anyone have to pay for an overpriced unbearably plain sweatshirt to help little poor black kids in Detroit? Put a product out worth buying and have the money go to charity. Just because the proceeds go to charity shouldn't give them an excuse to put out a product that looks like it took 10 minutes to design.

You don't. There's only 500 of them. They aren't pushing for millions of people to buy them. There are plenty more expensive sweatshirts being sold all over the world. It's not even a big deal. If there are 500 people that are willing to spend it, then cool. Who cares? They don't need your pity.

If they actually wanted to help the youth they'd put out a sweatshirt of around 30 dollars and mass produce them, with half of the proceedings going to under age youth, and the other half going to the cost of production. This is nothing more than a publicity grab. I don't care either way, everyone does these types of things, but stop acting as if they're all angels and legitimately trying to help poor kids.
