We would understand Eminems motivation for working with someone like Justin Bieber. He would just want to make a dope song. But so many people are gonna assume its just to produce a hit song. Thats probably not worth the blow it would be to his perceived integrity. To him he wouldnt be compromising anything, but to many more people he would be.

There are plenty of reasons. Making music you don't want to make, losing your core fanbase that you've worked hard to get, exhausting your aura, etc. etc.
