You think so? I think he has plenty of good hooks. Cleanin out my closet, White America, Deja Vu, Berzerk, Without me, Lose yourself etc.

It's just straight up easier to not have to write the hook, but I don't think the use of those particular women stems from a lack of hook writing talent.

The sample at the beggining and the beat alone are enough for me to like the song, and the hook isn't bad either. He sounds way too depressed and I don't like hearing Em self loathing but I don't feel like it's trash.

When Recovery was released, practically everyone was on his dick. It was actually the whole attitude of the 'comeback' bullshit that he pulled after a failed attempt at the real comeback. No one needed to buy the album to be excited about Eminem then because he sold his attitude. With MMLP2, he couldn't sell the attitude and he's back where he once was during the Relapse era. He needs to find a hip attitude fitting his age and the current state of his career and they'll be on his dick again.

Lol that contrast is actually pretty interesting. A friend of mine who's been getting more into Eminem lately told me he likes Beautiful like the rest of the public does but is kinda undecided on Relapse. The TR view is pretty much the opposite and people outside of TR don't really witness the hate for Beautiful and the praise for Relapse.
