Me too

Just because you haven't heard of someone doesn't mean they're not powerful or influential, the people with the real power don't want to be known by us plebs. But anyway it's all good publicity, even the bad stuff. Unless he actually punches her this will be turned into sales

Knew someone would say this and am sadly unsurprised it was you.

Yes it does.

PS, what the fuck is a 'pleb'?[/quote]

Are you seriously saying you are aware of all the powerful people in this world, and in the same post asking what a pleb is? REALLY? :facepalm2

Firefly/Serenity was cool.
And...um...cultural impact.

Haven't seen Firefly (heard it's cool, though) I was trying to be as casually dismissive as Joss Whedon was being.
How's the HuffPost article you linked, btw, reasonable or typical HuffPost?

It's good -- mostly reflects how I feel about context. Only thing is the author has one line saying "...he personally doesn't like it...", but oh well...he at least he takes on another HuffPost blogger who wrote that unreasonable article.

It is not that. I'm a woman, I can't care less about that line, " if your name happens to rhyme" " controversy" etc....

Is not for Lana Del Rey, but the whole Ray Rice thing ain't funny at all. The media shouldn't make a big deal out of this, but honestly we are in 2014 and he can do better too. Not because we are fans we have to defend everything, even if I said here since my first post people shouldn't take it that serious.

I think in the Cxvpher, the wordplay was very good -- he referenced a bunch recent events and the setup for each of them was quite cool .. "..knockout like Janay Rice...", "...head banned...", "...murder you on a track...", etc.

It's an interesting question -- what kind of things would Em rap about if it has to be a complete break from the topics in the past. Relapse didn't quite work and he may genuinely feel those songs did not have the right feel (cartoony horror, rather than real horror).

I said this already, my favorite songs , are Sing for the moment, Lose yourself, The way I am.....

So that's what I personally like the most. I really like Relapse.

We are in 2014, no need to keep doing reference like this one. Even though the media made it much bigger than what already is. It's just a cypher anyway, it rhymes. That's It. But I won't say it was supercool to say that because it wasn't. I know he can be a little bit asshole, :p but still like him.

I think hitting women is funny and shouldn't be seen as bad.

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

there's an incredibly easy fix here: don't give a reaction to someone for saying something if the reason they're saying it is because you're reacting. holy shit they act like they're not the source of him doing this.

They are reacting because they want a reaction. And that article may get quite a lot of reaction. The profound psychological analysis of Eminem is profound.
