Mr Mathers might be a short freestyle as its not down as a skit.

I am happy they are all solo because he has done very few songs on his own since Encore.I dont think it will be better than TES or TMMLP judging by whats leaked but he has definitely got rid of his writers block because his lyrical game has improved big time.The one thing that is gonna hold the album back a lot for most people is his voice because thats all that people are complaining about and to be fair its a big issue.Personnally i dont mind the accents to much but id rather them gone also.I cant wait to hear the personal songs on Relapse because that is when he is at his best.

Of the 4 songs Crack a bottle is catchy as fuck but i dont like 50 on it,we made you is alright but his 1st singles usually get old fast,3AM is sick lyrically but a poor hook brings it down and old time sake is my favorite song in ages i cant stop playing it.So far its more than solid and i cant wait for it to leak although i will definitely be buying it.

"My Mom"- talking about his mixed feelings, about how much he still hasn't forgiven her, but how she's obviously dying now (he said he had compassion for her in Vibe)

"Insane"- Either Shady, or deep drug stuff, could go either way

"Bagpipes from Baghdad"- Thought quirky when i saw the title, but now thinking about the relevance of the two together, it's surely about loss, and a bit of a political standing

"Hello"- Like "i'm back" i think, although he could surprise us again

"Same Song & Dance"- Like "Marshall Mathers", ripping in to the music scene (hopefully).. However i like the idea of there being another sick sample from Aerosmith

"Medicine Ball"- S..s..s..shadyyyyy..

"Stay Wide Awake"- Has the potential to be deep, but i could see it being another 3 am

"Must Be the Ganja"- Think this will be a comedy one, can't see it being anything else

I think these two tracks tie in together, because both could be that apparant "Proof dedication. Either comparing Proof to his other losses in Deja vu, or saying how beautiful life was with Proof in it or whatever. Of course there's the possibility that there's another blackout 3 am song and Halie song.


"Underground"- I think this will link us to Relapse 2, in whatever way Em wants it to be. Whether it be quite club like Encore (i think if it was like this, it would've been released as a single), or like Still don't give a fuck, with the messed up lyrics and dark beat.


I personally think that this will be a good album, classic maybe not, but i'm glad that he hasn't tried to be like any of the other albums. It's something different. Something fresh and unpredictable.

As far as lyrics and flow, he's past SSLP, and probably even MMLP, all he needs now is the emotion, and he's got a good album

I fuckin hate when people say the songs are better than other hip hop music out now like thats a big thing.Eminem has to be compared to what we know he is capable of not compared to whack fucks like Lil Wayne.

Having heard 4 songs so far i know he is capable of a lot more but i think he is definitely getting back to his best.

I wouldnt predict a songs content from the title alone but id imagine My mom is an apology of some kind having read his comments in vibe.

My expectations are quite low.

Crack A Bottle was good (minus 50).

We Made You wasn't good (and not well received, especially iTunes).

3AM was good albeit his 'Slim Shady' ego seems forced. But better than We Made You.

And Old Time Sake's is bad. I won't bump that "Caribbean" accent shit; it's not funny, it ruins his flow and it's borderline annoying. How can any rapper be respected by using that voice? His "multis' might be amazing on the track but it doesn't mean shit if he sounds like a 12 year old imitating Borat.
