Don't know if this was already posted, but finally saw this show that came up as an appearance on Em's website a few weeks ago. Was flipping through the channels, and saw Em on MTV about 2 hours ago. Don't know when this was taped, but it looks new. I missed the first 10 minutes, but when I came in, he was discussing the difference between all his albums, similar to a recent topic on here, and said "he's gone back to being an a**hole". LOL, so that's something to look forward to from R2.
The interviewer asked him the difference between Eminem and Slim Shady, he said "Well, Eminem will f--- you. Slim Shady will f--- you and your mother." LOL, he's sounding more like the Old Em.
He discussed his relationship with Dre, said it's more a friend thing than a artist/label exec thing, and that they have equal say over what gets put on a record. They both have to like a song for it to be on a record. But at the end of the day, he is on Dre's label, but its never been a artist/label exec thing, since day one they've been like friends.
He gave more insight about Relapse and Relapse 2. He said when he was ready to record again, him and Dre went to Florida in summer of 08,and they didn't know if the songs would go on his or Dre's album they just went to record. The songs about drugs on Relapse were him making fun of himself and the drug issues. He said he always has to write, like everyday, that's how fast his brain goes.
About R2, the interviewer asked him who will hate him after the album is released, and he said everyone. And if anyone doesn't hate him after R2 drops, he'll pick up the pen again, and write right there to make sure they hate him. LOL, sounds like Em is specifically looking to offend people again. Flashback to MMLP days...
Videos were My Name Is, A-- Like That, The Way I Am, Guilty Conscience, Forgot About Dre and Lose Yourself
Really liked this interview, the Em from previous years that looked to piss people off appears to be back!!!
