Em Seems to Hold Back?

On his own stuff?

If you just think... A lot of classic verses by him that people quote are usually guest verses.

I mean, just think Devil's Night. Most of the verses from him on that shit even on MMLP.

Just think of his verse on "Shit Can Happen" - Totally immense.

Or think of how lazy he was, in parts, on Encore but then think of D12 World. Some of his best verses.

And his verses on Obie's Cheers. Like on "Lady" and "We All Die One Day" basically shit on even most TES verses. His wit is on another level entirely.

Seems like he holds back on his own material as he's so obsessed with theme etc.

What do you think?

i see what you are saying with the examples, but it's not like he holds back on his own stuff. I dont know what the deal is with Encore and Relapse, but the final product turned out a bit lazy for both.

quick question...
are there any bonus tracks from Encore, other than Ricky Ticky Toc, Love You More, We As Americans..
ahead of my time, in my prime, one of a kind, out of my mind

He wants to embarrass rappers? :coffee:
Yo, from the first to the last of it; delivery is passionate/
The whole and not the half of it; vocab and not the math of it/
Projectile that them blasted with; accurate assassin shit/
Me and Kweli close like... Bethlehem and Nazareth/
