Should Em drop a street single...

Postby Emadyville » Feb 5th, '10, 21:20

Before R2, it seems he has a ton of songs again.

So I think he should drop a street single a week before the original singles released, then another street single before R2 hits stores.

I think if he drops some fire, maybe just a crazy song with one of these producers he is now working with (blaze, khalil, or even dre) he can really get the hype up there. And with so much material I think he should drop 2.

I'm not sure he ever even did this before (except the leak a year before encore, tho not on purpose) so what do you all think?

I think he should.. Jay-Z created big ass buzz with D.O.A, imagine what kinda buzz Em would create with same kinda song.

Exactly. I'm not even talking a song that makes the album either, I'm saying he has a ton of material, if he drops fire that "didn't make the album" for whatever reasons, that would be better than something from the album that's fire.

So maybe even street single not on the album, single, then street single from the album :y:

Yeah he should release a street single like he did with crack a bottle (not the same type of song though) doesn't have to be radio friendly either just something that sounds good to the people who's interested in Eminems music..

It would go against his history, but he's been doing a lot of stuff differently lately...branching out to multiple other producers, collabing with people like Wayne, etc. So it's not impossible. Hopefully he does, something like that would definately help the waiting.

He can't be a true Em stan. Em stans have 0 patience lmao. :p
But I agree, he should drop a single, even something that didn't make the album but was still amazing. You know, break tradition and do different things like he's been doing bit by bit (working w/ other artists & producers, etc.)

he created huge buzz with COB but i dont want something so ealry to be on the album
like i feel COB was forced onto R1 to give it more buzz

i will prolly like this street single more, because of the direction of R2
but then will the album comes out... it will be old :sweating:

so street singles yes, as long as he dont put it on the album

Yeah but it was officially released way before the album. Wasn't int in january or something? I meant he should do the same thing that happened with CAB but intentionally this time.(No not release it unfinished -.- I'm talking about a finished song) But it should be a song that didn't make the cut.
