The amount of times I've read on Eminem forums, Youtube comments and more, people saying that they hope or think Relapse 2 will be like The Eminem Show or MMLP is unreal and hugely irratating.

Why the hell do people want an album thats like a previous album? If I wanted to hear songs like on TES or MMLP then I'd listen to TES or MMLP. I want Relapse 2 to bring it's own freshness, it's own style - something he's never done before.

The best artists can easily switch style from album to album to keep their music fresh and up to now Em has done so with all success. So why should that change?

I want something I've never heard before. I dont want a song like Sing For The Moment or a song like Kill You - I want new, original, ideas and I am expecting that as Em doesn't dissapoint in the originality stakes.

So dont expect or want Relapse 2 to be like a previous album - music is constantly changing and so are artists - thats what makes music so great and what makes the best artists so great - they can adapt to the times and make different music on different albums.

Exactly. One of the best things about Em is that he always keeps things new and interesting, going places where he hasnt gone before in his music. Thats a main reason why people like him, and salivate for new material constantly. He never gets old or boring. Its a mistake to confuse style and quality, which I think alot of people do when talking about what they want R2 to be like. You can hope for the quality level to be like TES, but saying you want the same kind of album is foolish. Em's matured from that stage, and moved on to a different mindset altogether, which is why im interested in hearing what he comes with.

Yeah i don't think or want it to be like his previous albums, Relapse 2 is going to bring a completely different style simply because its a mixed produced album. We have no idea what its going to be like, which makes it exciting.
