He's always been a gentleman.

Some people just think he was a loud mouth or zany because he put it on when he wanted a laugh. I'm exactly the same as him.

But it's obvious to anybody who can people-read well that the man is actually shy, withdrawn and polite.

The Eminem you see on the 8 Mile interviews on the latest Jon Ross interview I believe is the true Eminem. All the zany shit is just him doing what he thinks people expect. Plus it's part of him but it's obvious that the real him is the gentleman.

So says everybody who met him like Dido and Britney Murphy too.

i think he hides his true colors. he doesnt want people to think he got a good heart or he is a gentlement cuz of the songs he writes but really he just getting his anger out and expressing himself. i think he has always been a gentlemen. i just think he has matured way more now. like in 106 and park when he calls rocsi beautiful instead of calling her hot, sexy, stuff like that. that shows he is a gentlemen. girls dont want to be called hot they rather be called beautiful.

He was being a 'punk' in 2000 to act out this Slim Shady character. I think it's pretty obvious he really is a pretty shy humble guy.

Why don't you think he's humble? He's modest about his success and always talks about where's he's come from. He never forget's Detoit or his upbringing.

We all know that's not his real side. Thats just the Slim Shady persona. The topic is about the man himself.
