I really don't like JB's production from what I've heard.

Em seems totally zoned in lyrically but I would love for him to produce R2 himself like with TES, when he produces himself he crafts an entire atmosphere around his melody and makes each song so complete.

Then again I really want to see what new ideas and sounds new producers will bring out of Em so in that respect... I am kind of glad it's going like it is. Just wish they'd fucking hurry up.

Not really. It's not really to my taste.

I prefer either hardcore, dark stuff or... Atmospheric melodic stuff. "The Way I Am" and "No Apologies" and... "8 Mile Road" are all perfect examples of my favourite production really.

I also like Premo. Real retro, stomping, raw sound. JB's stuff seems... I dunno. I don't really like bells and lots of samples and... I'm aware Premo samples by the way but it feels stripped down and just... Rich. JB doesn't seem great to me.

I hope they pull it off. I'm sure they will.

Well that's a lot better.

His beats still sound overcrowded though. Like there's too much going on and they're not really that memorable. Not to me anyway. Hope I'm proved wrong for R2.
