If any of Eminems previous 1st singles came out for Recovery

.....people would be disappointed.People are quick to jump on his back these days for anything he does and it seems he cant please people no matter what.If the 1st single was like Without me(which i still listen to regularly)they would write him off(almost guarenteed).

I think the people hoping for a Lose yourself or sing for the moment type song are gonna be disappointed seen as its almost certain Jim Jonsin is producing it.The reason i for one think he is producing the 1st single is because in the interview with MTV he was talking about altering lyrics for radio.

If it comes out and its either a club song or goofy track dont jump to conclusions the 2nd single is usually dope,very good at worst and i think that would give a better idea of the album.

People dont want him rapping about his family members,rapping in the Shady persona,using accents and i personally dont want a depressing album i want an upbeat one.One thing everyone is agreed on is we want a Proof tribute,hope it happens.

The Real Slim Shady was good at the time but didnt stand the test of time very well,same can be said for most his and D12s 1st singles with only Without me and Purple pills being ones i still listen to a fair bit.

It's not the quality of the song, it's the concept. TRSS was new and original at the time, now that formula is played-out. It was cool in 2000, now it's a 37 year old doing it, it's pretty embarrasing. I mean, I like WMY as a track, but people were bored of Eminem singling out celebs.
