The Elton John version from the 2001 Grammys is beautiful in its own right and a key moment in music history, but for me, nothing can top that haunting Dido hook.

The piano is a great little touch, no doubt.

I'm sure I have some distant relatives in Ireland that I do not know about. A good deal of my family immigrated to the United States around the turn of the 20th century. I'd love to visit Ireland someday.
