I think he will last another 2 years as a solo artist releasing one more album after recovery..

But even then we will hear plenty of collabs and beats.

Solo - I'd say 2 more after Recovery, and after those 2 I would like him to release an "Unreleased tracks" CD.

D12 - I'd say one more after the one they are planning to release at the end of 2010.

Other albums - He'll be on many major releases like TI's King Uncaged, the new Slaughterhouse album(s) as you said, Wayne's Carter IV and many more throughout the years that follow)

As a producer, I think he shouldn't stop producing even after he is 50 y.o.

If Em drops a classic this decade, I think he is the only artist to have made a classic album in 3 straight decades, some achievement that would be :worship:

@ the topic, I think he has atleast 2 albums left in him after Recover

a lot of musicians in different genres have made some of their best music at a later age, hiphop is finally at a stage where most of the legends are approaching/are in their 40's so it'll be interesting to see what happens over the next few years-it wouldn't surprise me if Em was still making music 10 years from now

I reckon another two after Recovery.

I hope Recovery and anything after is classic or great too. Because he released three classics in a row and has now had two mixed albums in a row.

Am sure he's very conscious of that too which is why he's putting "everything he's got" into Recovery. Which is very exciting as, since he actually highlighted that, implies he hasn't done that every time. You can tell he's very very focused / determined now.

So would be nice for him to release another three classics in a row.

Forget a greatest hits album, I want a unreleased tracks album

Eminem - Unreleased

Featuring unheard tracks from SSLP/MMLP/ and The Eminem Show era

I mean "STIMULATE" didn't make it onto The Eminem Show so just think of what other gems we are missing out on that are locked away.

The only way I think we are going to get this though is if he dies or retires for absoloute good!
Would be great.. i really wanna listen to that Eminem Feat. Rakim track D:

I think Jay Z is doing a good job at making age less relevant. Jay is the one that's breaking that wall down. Now that hip hop is a major genre age wont be such a factor anymore.

I think Eminem has 10 years left in him.

Yeah it's very annoying. See a lot of people perceive songs that didn't make the album as bad / shitty songs that weren't good enough. But with somebody like Em that ain't true at all.

He's often just trying to craft a single vision album with a story / theme so picks songs which all fit that vision. "Stimulate" for example, as amazing as it is - Doesn't sound like it should be on TES at all, they definitely made the right choice.

BUT, it's still an incredible song. So just the thought I mean... Also, Chamillionaire said Em came to him with ideas that had never been done before and was like asking him if he liked them and he was just like "Man... You're EMINEM". Seems like he has much less confidence in his own judgement these days. I mean he literally could have masterpieces locked away.

For his final album he should definitely release a monster CD set with the best of unreleased tracks from 99-2010. Chronologically too so they play like a stylistic story. That would be fantastic.

Absoloutely.

I mean you only have to look at 'Careful What You Wish For' and 'My Darling' as other recent examples

Great tracks in their own right, but didn't make it on the Relapse album for whatever reason.

I also believe that "I Love You More", "Ricky Ticky Toc" and "We As Americans" were bonus tracks on Encore too, and they were all good.

Well "Careful What You Wish For" and "My Darling" were made before Relapse. Different time period and for a different album, so it's not like they didn't make it, just that they weren't made for Relapse.

He just included them as bonuses as he obviously didn't wanna totally scrap them too. They wouldn't of fit on Relapse, just like "Beautiful" don't. Slow, growly flow / personal style vs. choppy, double-time accented speed flows and murder tales. Bizarre mix. Should of left "Beautiful" off.

With the Encore tracks - They didn't end up on there because they leaked so early. So Em made some quick to combat it - "Rain Man", "Big Weenie" etc. So basically, the fact they leaked early made Encore a much shitter album. With the original tracks it actually would of been a great album. Not a classic but certainly not as it's viewed now.

Recovery
D12's 3rd Album

3 more albums, where one of them will be Greatest Hits I bet the 1st of them.
Then some years after his hiatus another Greatest Hits, maybe Double with hits from SSLP to his last album.
Several features may appear here and there, but I am not very sure.

He'll definitely work on the upcoming D12 album then I predict he'll do maybe 2 or 3 solo albums after, then probably go on to do some producing.

He did do it till he collapsed. First mentally from exhaustion then in his bathroom from an overdose. And now he's continuing, so he's done it till after he collapsed.
