You're Never Over

Postby chrismoz » Jun 8th, '10, 07:27

Best track on the album. Hands down. Definitely the most emotional. Eminem even admits it himself that he wanted to write the best rhyme of his life and the 2nd part of the verse when he talks about the dream he has about Proof... i mean just listening to it gave me goosebumps - this song is incredible. everything about it, from the beat and the flow from the rhymes, the message. it's up there.

recovery :worship: is pretty incredible too. if you smoke weed and listen to it it makes you appreciate it that much more because you can hear it better (weed smokers know what im talking about)

His singing on this song is probably the worst he's probably ever delivered. It's still a good song, but man.. That took it down a little notch.

Excellent conclusion to the album (if you don't count untitled). I loved the "guardian angel" line. Doodie :(

I think that's intentionally like that though.

Because he can hold notes ("Hailie's Song" and "Kim") pretty well. I think he purposely sung it that way to make it more catchy and add a certain... I'm not sure. Sounds kind of 80s.

Sounds class to me though.

I thought that too. His singing on Cold Wind Blows is something that I really enjoy (even made me like the track more), but I thought this was just a little much.

I think he made it intentionally sappy to represent how he was just making a bare-all song for his friend sans shame.
It almost sounds... punk, though.

It's hard to believe that he really misses proof when the singing on the track is so terrible. Just awful.

I don't know what it is you don't like  I really fuckin' love this song
Ted Bundy did it, John Gasey did it, Jeffery Dahmer did it, Jim Baker did it, Jimmy Swaggart did it, Lil Rick did it... And why me can't do it? :confusion:

Such a dope track,he purposely spits fire(which is unusual for a tribute track)but there are a lot of heartfelt emotional lines.

Sick song and album,he was right to scrap Relapse 2
