If you're a multi collector and can't appreciate anything else, then you might think so. But over half the songs on this album crush Stay Wide Awake in all ways (with the exception of the multis not being the focus of every song)

Song quality overall > multis.

Imo pretty much all of Recovery bar a couple songs > SWA.

Of course but who said SWA wasn't a good/quality song?

IMO,

SWA > 75% of Recovery

I know, I was just saying that when it comes down to it I don't give a fuck about multis. And for that reason, SWA is pretty meh to me.

In terms of multis, no of course not. Actually in terms of multis, does any song in Ems catalogue compare to SWA? I Maybe Infinite, but other than that I dont think so
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide

Yes multi's are good sometimes, yes Stay Wide Awake is a good song for that purpose, but I rate things how they are MUSICALLY.

STAY WIDE AWAKE is not good 'music'

Most of Recovery IS good music.

...Because lyrics are easily one of the 2 most important parts of a 'good' song.

C'mon son..

People like you are the reason mainstream was on a downfall.

Not in terms of just rhyming no.

But Relapse was an album where it was rhyming for its own sake. Where as Recovery has more artistic overtones, it's crammed with multi-dimensional metaphors and poetic lyricism.

So it's to be expected that he'd sacrifice extreme rhyme patterns for those things. They're different albums with different aims, comparing them on that aspect is pretty redundant.

Lol, I'm a drama queen because some idiot said lyrics are irrelevant to making a good song.
