Em Should Rap Until 2012

He'll be 38 this year.

I was just thinking, it'll probably be like two years before another album now. But it would be good if he put one out in 2011 and a final solo album in 2012.

Due to that nonsense about the World ending in 2012. Obviously no worth in that it's babble but, Em will be 40 then I mean... 2 years before each album is too long now.

I think it would be class if he put out an album in 011 and 012 and then had one giant tour in 2012 to finish it off. Make it huge and memorable and even theme it around the 2012 hype ie. the end of world = the end of Eminem, something big and arrogant.

And make it a monster head fuck tour of the final three albums. All killer material.

This. I wanna keep getting news materials from Em, mixtapes, collabs, singles, unreleased stuff from whatever era minus Encore. I really don't want him to stop, but he has to at some points though. That'll be the end of rap fandom for me, i'll still listen to other ppl's stuff but i'll never follow anybody else as much as i do with Em.

I think he should keep doing solo albums until 2013 or maybe 14, and then just do features and work with D12 or something.. Would be a nice way to go out, assuming the solo albums were hot and the D12 verses blew the rest of d12 away.

Great point, actually. I can't see myself following an artist as thoroughly as I have with Em (As Stanish as that sounds).

It's not really stannish as there really aren't that many EXCITING artists period.

Most music artists forget that music is entertainment too. So as well as it sounding good to your ears it should also entertain you. Em is one of a handful who sticks true to this.

He's always entertaining and always tries to be unpredictable in what he's saying. It's for this reason so many look for the next album so obsessively. You have some artists who JUST try to make pleasant music and that's why it's nice to listen to but ultimately boring and they don't excite you.
