Sad Part On YOUR NEVER OVER!!

Postby rep2death » Jun 27th, '10, 10:26

is when Em starts singin "and it dont stop ohhh...and i miss you ohh"

idk y...but that part...i sincerely feel the pain eminem is going thru...such simplicity in its delivery but still...something about that part rings more honesty and vulnerability then most of the album (eventho most of the album is awesome too)

yea sry...jus had to share that...listenin to it right now....dam :(

I really wished he didn't sing on that song and a lot of others. Em has a tendency to do too much of something. Just like the accent last album. Now it's singing everywhere. He's addicted to singing. :facepalm

I like that part that u were talking about though. ANd the Lyrics are incredible.

you kno at first i thought the same about his singing (cuz Your Never Over is the only song where his singing is bad) but after several listens i realized something...

he didnt make this song for us...he didnt make this song so WE can vibe to it...he made this song for himself and for proof...Em listens to his fans but this is one song where i believe he didnt really care about how we felt about it...this was just a direct song to proof....

but i do agree...his singing is awful on the actual chorus part...but when i think about the reason bahind it...im ok with it

my opinion tho

If you complain about the singing you missed the point. He put it on there with the pop beat because Proof would find that humorous, and Proof would never want Eminem to make a song too dark and dreary as a tribute to him.

yeah thats what i've been thinking,,, this song was for him and proof

and about the singing.... this and beautifull are the only songs where i think his singing is bad... well in beautifull it just sounded corny and on this it almost sounds as if it was done intentionally.... and my other complain about this song is that he bends the words a little to much....lol "i spread my waaaanngss and i flew"....

I heard wings pretty clear. Didn't sound like he bent anything. The 1st verse was what I didn't understand. One minute he's talking about there no punk over here then he starts talking about Proof. The Dre's Phantom line seemed like he was determined to make it fit in the song.

Matter of fact it was just the other night, had another dream about you
You told me to get up, I got up and spread my wings and I flew
You gave me a reason to fight, I was on my way to see you
You told me nah Doodi you’re not layin’ on that table I knew
I was gonna make it, soon as you said think of Hailie, I knew
There wasn’t no way that I was gonna ever leave them babies, and Proof
Not many are lucky enough to have a guardian angel like you
....... he bent alot of the words in the song to make it rhyme.... and his flow isnt too great either... i mean all of a sudden he speeds up and then slows down... i mean,, he just wasn't on top of the beat on this one
edit: he also says dram instead of dream and relisten to it because he says wangs...arg to much forced word play for me

nitpick much? :coffee:

The beat sucked. THat's one of those choppy beats. That's why he sounded all over the place.

I agree. I still don't know why anyone complains about this song, it's for Proof, not us.
