Cause the shit I hear is crazy
But your either getting lazy or you don't believe in you no more
Seems like your own opinions, not one you can form
Cant make a decision you keep questioning yourself
Second guessing and its almost like your begging for my help

Nah, he doesn't appeal to enough people to ever be as popular and because of piracy, he'll never match his sales.

Umm, no. To be honest with you, Em and MJ are my most listened to artists, and I don't particularly like one of them more than the other, but that's just a really silly question. It's not even possible unless you are drunk with stannery and/or oblivious to just how big MJ really is. Rap doesn't have the universal appeal of singing and dancing. How are people who don't understand English going to get down to Eminem?

Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and Michael Jackson are the biggest acts in the music industry. I don't see any rapper joining that rank. At least not in our lifetime.

And IMO no one is as global as MJ, even out of Elvis and Beatles.
Caution to the wind, complete freedom. Look at these rappers, how I treat 'em, so why the fuck would I join 'em when I beat 'em?

MJ was a world class dancer, singer, producer, poet, performer.. etc

So basically one of the most talented people to breath air, and i aint even a fan of the guy..

Em is no where near, but that's cos there's such a big gap between #1 and 2-10 lol
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Eminem
Big l
Biggie Smalls

There are limits when you are so loved by so many people that you sell 100 mill of one CD, and then at death, half of the world cries cos they've lost their hero/influence/childhood memories.

I wouldn't be surprised when he dies. Let's face it, before MJ died, hardly anyone talked about him (years after he ended his music career), people were happy call him a child molester even after his trials (albeit a minority), he was basically like any other top retired popstar: good to listen to back in the days, but moved onto newer music.

But then he suddenly dies, and the whole world is talking about him, his old popular tracks rise through the charts again, hypocrites ( previous MJ bashers) unfold and he gets legendary status.

Now I'm not saying it'll happen to Eminem, but who knows. Music artists get A LOT of attention when the die.

Sadly impossible. But with music at such a low quality currently he can capitalize on this and newer generations can feel what SSLP/MMLP/TES era fans experienced. We have a few members here who only began listening to Eminem after relapse :y:

What matters is he should get 100 million sales in the next 15 years which would be an extremely large feat as album sales rapidly dropped due to pirating etc.

Yeah they do but I'm sure Michael Jackson had a god like status in terms of music pre death.
I don't see Eminem hitting The Beatles, Elvis Presley,Michael Jackson,ABBA status
