753,870 is NOT the final sales for the week!

HDD is not the official numbers. Only Billboard has the official numbers which are posted on Wednesdays.

For example, last week on Tuesday, HDD posted Drake had 462,989, but when Billboard/SoundScan posted the final update, Drake had really sold 446,680. (447,307 counting street date violations.)

So, RECOVERY's numbers will either be lower or higher (in some cases) than what HDD reports.

That doesn't mean anything. The SoundScan numbers only account for stores with the actual SoundScan system. Whereas HDD is counted in a different way that I don't remember how, anyone?

Hits Daily Double tabulates their sales figures via store reports (as in, a store manager or someone phones/faxes in sales reports). Soundscan measures their sales via computerized scans. Each time you buy a CD and it's scanned for pricing, that is counted as a Soundscan sale.

We'll know soon enough, the store I bought my 3 copies at doesn't use SoundScan I don't think. If they do it's a surprise to me because it's a fairly small store. I refuse to shop for a disc like this at Wal-Mart/K-Mart so the only other choice I have besides driving 45 minutes across town to a regular Sam Goody type store is to go to this small ass Cats Music store by the house. But regardless...I know he sold at least 3 copies because I have them in front of me :p
