Relapse = Eminem's most LYRICAL album?

Don't get me wrong, I like Recovery more than Relapse, but listening to Relapse again (made a mix with relapse + recovery) I'm still in aw over how lyrical this album is. He doesn't really talk about anything other than fantasy...but a lot of the tracks are simply SMOTHERED with multis, it's pretty amazing IMO.

You think? Maybe I didn't see it like that because most of SSLP is, on average, a slower flow than Relapse. Stay Wide Awake still amazes the fuck out of me.

Wrong. Rhyming syllables is one thing, but on TSSLP he rhymed words you weren't expecting, and did so without altering the pronunciations nearly as much as he does on Relapse. Brain Damage is a perfect example of what I'm talking about.

Wrong. relapse's flow was perfect. the accent and flow made the multis seem very natural. SSLP had very many simple one-syllable rhyme schemes.

I like Relapse, but he resorted to cheating with the pronunciations on a lot of words that Prime-Eminem simply wouldn't do. Not to say Prime-Eminem never did that, but he did it a lot less often.

Relapse has loads of multis, but SSLP had loads and made every syllable count. There is nothing on Relapse that compares to the first verse on Rock Bottom. Not a wasted rhyme. Although I do love the rhyming on 3am.

relapse has sick flow and lyrics but those lyrics rarely meant anything, he even said himself he was just fuckin around on that album

Stay Wide Awake may not have meant anything....but it all made sense, you know what I mean? It wasn't random line after random line, it had a centered theme. Who cares, it's not like we can only listen to one album forever lol.

Yes, as far as which songs had the most technically sound lyrics it would be Relapse. Nobody is saying it has to make sense or be a good song but the writing on that album is great.
