Unreleased Em Songs Probably Suck

Eminem only puts out the stuff he thinks lives up to his name, that's why I think everyone hoping to hear all his 'unreleased' SSLP-Eminem era songs or Relapse 2 have nothing to look forward to.

Sometimes a song he thinks is good but doesn't come out on an album will see the light of day anyways, whether through bonus tracks, freestyles (I have a feeling 'Insult to Injury' came out as the 2010 Westwood verses), or a mixtape (Invasion).

Basically I think that the best of Em is stuff that we already have heard, and there's no special gems locked up in a vault somewhere that we can only hear after he dies. Since Recovery came out and Relapse 2 has been scrapped, people have been wanting to hear R2, but I think we already have in the form of Refill. All the other songs on R2 probably really suck. The Stat Quo/Eminem songs that leaked without Em's permission suck so much ass that it's proof that even though Eminem makes great music, not everything he records is of that great quality.

I don't agree with the first part of your post, I don't think he's in the habbit of recycling his unused verses.

Nowone will ever know what type of music he's got hidden in that vault, but he said he made around 100 songs for Recovery and picked the best, baring in mind that "Talking To Myself", "No Love" and "You're Never Over" would have been 3 must haves on the album because of what they addressed, "No Love" because Wayne had to be on Recovery due to DTW being on Rebirth, with all that in mind he wasn't going to make the rest of album full of "On Fires" & "So Bads", so I reckon theres many more songs in the style of "Going Through Changes" and "Almsot Famous" that didnt make it.

Good point, but when he says he made around 100 songs for Recovery I don't think he literally meant complete songs, mastered, 2-4 verses, hook and all. Because if he really did have songs up to par as him album songs, why would he, especially during the downturn of his career, Encore-Relapse, put out songs like Taking My Ball when he knew his fans would prefer a hypothetically existing Sing For The Moment pt 2 or something like that.
