some of you just dont get it. He was singing to his best friend. He knows he cant sing. Its like when you make something for someone instead of buying a gift and that person charishes more because you tried. Thats what em did with this song. No autotune to make him sound better. No technology to enhance his vocals. Straight from the heart. Thats real true music. Hes speaking/singing from the fuckin heart.

If he wanted it to sound better it would 'cause he can sing.I know he's said several times he can't hold a note but his singing in some songs sounds really nice. ("I,I will not fall,I will stand tall,feels like no one could beat me" for example)
