It looks like Eminem and Rihanna will start shooting the video for their hit “Love The Way You Lie” this coming Tuesday. Video director Joseph Kahn tweeted the above message.

It's just a song about domestic violence. So am not envisioning a very exciting video at all.

I pretty much... Dislike it when music videos are made for songs that don't need them. Then it's simply a marketing extension and not what it should be - An artistic extension. A way to add a new dimension to a song that has visual capability.

So it's even more annoying that Eminem is still obviously just driven by chart success on this front at least. The label still rules, business first. I hope he does a video for one of the more creative songs off the album. I think he badly fucked up a killer opportunity to create visual masterpieces with Relapse videos. Be very annoying if he does that again.

Love The Way You Lie is the best song on the album.

Not even close to the best for me.

It's the type of song Em can write in his sleep, he already did it better with "Love You More". They're just the 'expected' type verses from Em to me at this point. Or even... Post 01.

Best song for me is "Almost Famous" or "Space Bound". Both of which could make thrilling, visual videos. As for "Love the Way You Lie" - Regardless of its quality, it's a realistic, down to earth song. I can't imagine it making anything of a compelling video at all. Feels like a waste.
