1. There's no GOAT.

2. 50 Cent and G Unit were huge for a few years, but they did a thing well known and normal in music.. it's called- Falling off.

3. Slaughterhouse are a group that can all individually match Em lyrically and conceptually.. How can that be a bad thing in anyway.. Unless Em was a guy just after a profit.. Which we know he's not..

4. On a final note, i think we should look out for Cashis' album, i think it'll surprise alot of people, dudes dope. Shady lives on.
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Eminem
Big l
Biggie Smalls
Royce Da 5'9"
Jigga

Slaughterhouse are 4 average garbage though. You have to be an ARTIST to stand on your own. Theres a MILLION great lyricists in Hip Hop, its because Eminem is a great artist and lyricist that he can carry these people. If Eminem doesnt sign a good artist and lyricist then its pointless, just being a good lyricist is not enough to stand on your own and Eminem is back to carrying the babies again.

Did you just call Crooked I a garbage artist..

If you're being a bit harsh and shit, you could argue that Joey, Royce and Ortiz all 'messed up their chance' or were 'one hit wonders'.. But Crooked..

Dude, go back to class.

I largely disagree, but there is some sliver of your argument I find correct. Can't put my finger on it.

I think its just that... Eminem has never signed that "wow" artist who he can really cultivate into something A+. Like if he had picked up BOB, or Chamillionaire, I think they can actually match him on all dynamics of rap. They're more than just rappers, they are artists - like you mention. I'm not sure if any of the SH members are quite on that level of artistry.

But they are pretty sick on the mic. They'll do good.

Em doesn't have that much time to waste anymore & since he's on fire right now, he should keep focusing on his SOLO career, not "rebuilding" a record label that leads to nowhere

This might be part of the argument I agreed with. Dude is on fucking fire, he needs to keep griding it out.

again, I prefer a song with all 3 awesome verses from Em to a song with 1 awesome verse from Em & 2 other verses being average/shitty. Song like Words are weapon could be one of Em's greatest because of the verse & the hook but Bizzare had to come out and ruined it all for me.

Redman said he'd go to Shady - Em should have jumped at that chance.

Phaorahe Monch was supposed to sign 2003ish but some complicactions meant it never happened.

Those two would have be brilliant.

On topic - I think the SH signing will bring out the best in Em (especially being around Royce again) and hopefully will get his ass into gear in getting albums released and making Shady Records a force.

IMO, that verse and chorus was weak as hell, by Em's standards. Cos he was actually making really dope things around then.
