Release a shortened version of No Love to both pop and urban radio.

Take out the intro before Wayne's verse, and the coda after Em's verse. And maybe shorten the center between the two as well.

It would be huge...it was the most immediately catchy song on the CD when it first leaked.

I agreed. When I first heard it for the first time Em' s part (hook+verse) immediately caught me, that part is definitely catchy but the problem is wayne's verse & it's too long. It's not like like wayne's verse is bad or anything but he started out kinda slow.

I believe W.T.P. could be a really good single actually.
It has a catchy hook and it's a sweet party track.
But I've said it before, and I'll say it again, every song on Recovery (except maybe On Fire) are potential hit singles.
But Space Bound, No Love or Talkin' 2 Myself would be dope too.

I think we all should know by now that the next single is No Love. It's been obvious since Recovery came out, just like it was obvious Love The Way You Lie was gonna be the second single.

After No Love, I'd have to say he needs to put out Space Bound as the fourth single. Every girl that has listened to that song, that I know of, loves it. I guess because it's a love song and it's something no one has ever heard from Em before

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Either Space Bound, Going Through Changes, You're Never Over... Something big has to happen one of those espicially 'space bound' it would give Em a lot of radio plays.

Agreed. I've seen so many fb statuses with some of the lyrics, mostly from girls, but from guys too.
It would be the biggest hit off Recovery after "No Love."

Talkin' 2 Myself - I'm shocked not that many people here see how big of a radio hit that would be.

This one poster on the pulse forum has a brilliant explanation.

There's a constant and consistent rock-leaning beat throughout the track and doesn't at any point lose steam. The hook is also very strong and identifiable and the verses should resonate emotionally to listeners given how unabashedly honest Eminem is about his jealousy in the first verse consuming him but denying he had a problem at the time, accepting he had a problem and needed to come clean about it in the second verse, and then re-emerging in the final verse while also telling other idols to hold their heads up.

"Talkin' 2 Myself" is his best bet at a third consecutive #1. Some may argue "No Love" should come next given Lil Wayne's appearance, but I actually feel it's a much more inconsistent track given how slow Lil Wayne's pacing is compared to Eminem's rapid-fire final verse. It's a messy track, and even the sampling of "What Is Love?" could have been much better executed, in my opinion.

I actually feel "Talkin' 2 Myself" is the only remaining track on the album that can go #1. I think other than "No Love" (mostly due to star power) there are a couple of potential Top Tens remaining as well: "25 to Life", which is a slower and more ruminative track that will nonetheless have plenty of appeal for fans that prefer his more introspective offerings at their finest and for DJ Khalil's appealing synth effects, and "W.T.P.", which will appease listeners who relish the tired and tried party stereotypes and a little more edge to Eminem's music but is accessible enough to get a moderate amount of Top 40 airplay.

Some may argue "Cinderella Man" is also a contender, but I disagree, in that although it has a stadium anthem feel to it, it feels more intended as a celebratory freestyle designed to lift a crowd in concert than a radio single. I also understand why some may disagree with me on "W.T.P." but I do think some listeners will be looking for a brief respite from the heavily emotional side of Eminem and that is his best bet at a hit among his lighter fare I believe.

Namaste,

I read that and it's not really "brilliant", he/she seems to like T2M and sounds biased if he/she really think that song could go to no. 1. I could see it getting airplay but it won't have the sale power like NA or ltwyl because it's really nothing special (and ppl already heard him calling Relapse "ehh" in NA, now in T2M he's trashing it again, repetitive..)

From what ive seen, No Love is a reasonable choice for single because it' has the urban appeal. Both NA & LTWYL were more pop hits than urban hits, Em needs something hard hitting like No Love for single to show people that Recovery is not full of emo stuff -> get news fans to buy album :coffee: People need to see that Em's fanbase is very diverse so his singles need a bit of everything too.
