Well, isn't the rumour that Rihanna usually does whatever her label tells her? That she was going against them by even doing LTWYL? Perhaps they want her to be "happy island princess" again for the new album and single? If her bosses want her to be all "Chris Brown? Who's Chris Brown?", it would make sense that she's not showing up for the concerts. Of course, that's all idle speculation, don't know these people etc. etc.

ETA: Yeah, I know the other one LOL. But IMO there's a lot of evidence of her being often controlled by her label whereas that other thing was just idle gossip about supposed hookups, Grandma or no Grandma.
