And the 8 mile thing, at the time it was the 3rd highest weekend for an r-rated movie. since then its obviously dropped a lot on that list, but was third when it came out

Yeah he only got 3 million up front but after all the box office and dvd sucuess of 8 mile he made somewhere around 20-30 million off the movie.
