The problem with HHD is that no one will sticky it.

Only admins can sticky, it's a shame that this section is almost never looked at. I myself almost never come in here unless it's approve a post or disapprove one.

But...someone as popular as Kendrick, I don't think you'd even need to sticky a thread because we have enough fans here (myself included) that'd keep it on the first page.

I know he's popular, but I don't know if it'd stay on top in HHD tbh

I'm hoping Kendrick will pull through with this album, but I'm almost certain he won't do better than Section.80.

Or maybe I'm wrong.

Anyways, I can't wait. :y:

He said in a recent interview that money does not equate success for him, it's topping Section.80. I trust what he's doing and think he can do it. And yeah, I've been trying to get Geno to like him. I don't think it's possible though. I think there are a lot of haters here because there are stans in denial thinking no one can be compared to Eminem or top him on a track. There's been a lot of hate since that Eminem x Kendrick Lamar collaboration thread.

Money equals success to Jimmy Iovine though.

Yeah. I don't think Eminem has fallen off like guys at SL, but you'd have to be in complete denial to say he's at the same quality he was during his prime. He is not the same guy who renegaded Jay-Z 11 years ago.

This 100%, but Kendrick Lamar and Eminem are two different people in two deferent stages of their individual careers. Eminem has already accomplished everything while Kendrick Lamar still has to grasp the world. He is still hungry, and that's why he will make his situation work. Anyway, Kendrick Lamar said he was given creative control in his contract.

Yeah, say what you want about Gaga, I dislike her as well. But she is more of an artist than anyone on YMCMB and the majority of trash rappers/trash pop artists.

As I keep saying, the song she did with Wale was dope.

Gaga is actually a great artist, I just dislike her personality and image. You could represent gays and "monsters" in a much more respectable way. I mean who the fuck, that's gay, would think that wearing a meat costume to promote gay rights isn't offensive. She's just a bitch without too much originality on the stage. She has the stage presence of Madonna, all she did was make it modern to apply to the general audience. Other than that her music is great and though she swallowed large portions of Madonna's style, she definitely has more talent than Madonna and most, if not all, pop artists still kicking.
