That's a smart move, if true. Detox has too much of a stigma; it's best to start from a fresh standpoint.

There are hundreds of songs out there & all of them have been considered Detox material at certain point but I'm sure the sound have changed many times in the progress... naturally the collaborators & Dre's artists as well.
I think if Dre releases a new album next year it'd be all about newer material... not necessarily if we talk about the beats of course.

Dre's involvement with Apple is all about sound... plus Beats keep adding new records to their list so new Dre material would actually be a very good business for both/all parties involved.
As a matter of fact if Dre released another album Apple would definitely benefit a great deal from it.

I never thought about that but it's possible to be honest. :y: As I've said I think Dre's next project will come next year but I don't think it'd be called Detox.

I know man... :y: We've seen that earlier.
Detox could only be a complication album made outta songs from different batches that have been piling up for more than a decade now. An album made outta new material will definitely have a different title.

I have a feeling it will be called The Chronic 2020 even though it will be released next year "We Made You" 2020 reference could be a coincidence LOL :shifty:

Long shot homie... Even though 2015 would be on point & is practically a way better title than Detox to be honest. We'll have to wait & see.

my guess is with how rich he is now, even tho he was loaded back when detox was announced, would make him care even less if he came out with an album

You're pretty much right in general if we talk about the facts Dre's stinky rich & is nearly 50 years old but at the same time like I said before it'd be great business for him, Beats, Apple & whatever party involved if he dropped another album.
